With over 8 years in the tanking and trucking industry, Luke and Sophie Firmin unexpectedly became the primary caregivers to three beautiful children in 2016. With the goal to make a difference for their niece and nephews future, Luke and Sophie worked hard to purchase Waikato Domestic Water in 2018, supplying one of life’s essentials – water – to the many families and communities around them.
Appreciating the significance that water brings to life, Waikato Domestic Water is grown around the significant that water provides to and in life, both physically, culturally, and spiritually. With water often a resource that is taken for granted, when scarce in supply, is suddenly the most valuable commodity to sustain, nurture, and uphold day-to-day life.
Starting out as a smaller business, Waikato Domestic Water has expanded our fleet each year in turn expanding their services. With a close-knit team of three permanent staff and trusted roster of subcontractors that come on board during the peak season, we aim to remain small, trustworthy, and reliable to the people of Waikato and Hauraki. The ability to cater to urgent water requests, flexible deliveries, and tailor our service to our customers is what we do best, and what our reputation in the last five years has grown from.
